This initiative is inspired in part by the legacy of Elisette, whose commitment to supporting children’s education left a lasting mark on the Djende community.
Her example continues to guide our thinking. She embodied the belief that dignity is strengthened through education, support, and opportunity.
It is also inspired by the legacy of Miambe Alphonse, whose life reflected discipline, agricultural commitment, and deep respect for the land.
Together, these values continue to shape the kind of impact DJENDE hopes to build: grounded, responsible, and connected to future generations.

As part of this initiative, $0.25 from every order is set aside to help support future education-focused actions connected to children from farming families linked to Djende.
